After completing a BA Hon’s fine art degree at KIAD in 2000, Maggie also completed a teaching cert at Canterbury College.
Since then Maggie has been teaching, exhibiting and selling work from her new studio in Lympne. Last September Maggie had her first solo exhibition which was a huge success. Since then she has been working on commissions for both the Private and Corporate markets.

Following on from the South East Open Studios I received a number of commissions including one for 60 watercolours for the new apartments at Prince’s Golf Club in Sandwich. These were completed shortly before Christmas. In the New Year I visited Mauritius which was inspiring with its vibrant colours and hot light.
I am now working towards a new exhibition at George House on the Old High Street in Folkestone in September. The basis of the work will have an organic theme and will include oil on canvas, mixed media and sculpture.
I have some Art Days coming up…. SATURDAY 16th JUNE – WATERCOLOUR – flowers and SATURDAY 14th JULY – LANDSCAPES – painting and drawing. All abilities welcome. 10am – 4pm with a break for lunch. Please bring a packed lunch with you, coffee and tea will be provided. £40 per person.
